Finding new revenue resources and maximizing profitability are the focus of four new seminars being presented by Dealernews columnists today and tomorrow at the Indiana Convention Center. All sessions will be held in Meeting Room 211 on the second floor.
Dealernews 20 Group coordinator Bill Shenk (also of Powerhouse Dealer Services) will lead an invigorating session on how to use everything from bike nights to dyno runs to attract customers to your store. "Magnetize Your Dealership and Attract More Customers" will be held at 10:30 a.m. today and at 11 a.m. Sunday.
Columnist Dave Koshollek of DAKO Enterprises focuses on the hiring, training (and even firing) of service technicians in "Good Tech, Bad Tech, What the Heck," held at noon today and at 12:30 p.m. Sunday.
Columnist Steve Zarwell presents "30 Ideas in 30 Minutes" at 1:30 p.m. today and 2:00 p.m. Sunday. Come prepared to take notes, because you're set to receive 30 ideas that you can take back to your store and apply immediately. (And if you've ever heard Zarwell speak on prior occasions, you know he can deliver 30 ideas in 30 minutes pretty easily.)
Finally, e-commerce columnist Todd Shafer will lead an informative session on search-engine marketing and optimization, essential terms for you to understand if you want your dealer website to be visible to the crowd. "Finding Gold at the End of the Search Rainbow" will be held at 3:00 p.m. today and 3:30 p.m. tomorrow. Shafer will stay around to answer any dealer questions on website development and e-commerce operations.
