Dealers this week have been receiving survey forms to fill out for the 2009 Distributor Report Card, the biennial survey conducted by Dealernews that asks powersports retailers to rate distributors according to 18 criteria.
The Distributor Report Card studies the relationship between powersports dealers and their parts and accessories distributors, and how those relationships are affected by various elements such as product quality, product availability and dealer support services,” says Dennis Johnson, editor in chief of Dealernews. The results, he adds, provides a biennial “snapshot” of how dealers view this critical business relationship. Previous Distributor Report Card surveys were conducted in 2007 and 2005.
