Dealership Mechanic Opens Sturtevant Cycle

A former mechanic at Racine Motor Sports in Wisconsin has struck out on his own with two partners to open repair shop Sturtevant Cycle to take up slack after the former business closed.

Tom Benish, 36, is running the business with hobby racer Andy Song, They are each one-third partners along with another, unnamed silent partner, according to the Journal Times.

Benish says he received most of his training on the job at Racine Motor Sports, before the economy dealt it a fatal blow last summer.

Besides repair for a broad range of makes, Sturtevant Cycle sells and installs new plastic body kits.
