SANTA MONICA, Calif. – Dealership University will deliver three exclusive workshops as part of an in-depth Marketing Track educational program at the DX National Retail Conference presented by Dealernews at Dealer Expo 2014, this Dec. 4-7 in Chicago.
Dealership University’s interactive workshops will show retailers how to identify marketing targets; ways of integrating traditional and digital marketing, and new approaches for online marketing in 2015.
“Dealership University is going to show retailers how they can conserve marketing dollars, re-allocate resources and emerge with much more successful results,” said Tracy Harris, senior vice president of Advanstar Communications' Powersports Group, producer of Dealer Expo (and parent of Dealernews).
The DU approach to data analytics shows retailers how to uncover information that will maximize their response rate with current and conquest customers. It shows how to integrate marketing plan elements so retailers can take control of their budgets and smoothly execute new initiatives as customers’ behaviors change.
“Let’s face it, you’re all selling commodities,” explained Rod Stuckey, president of Powersports Marketing by Dealership University. “The real difference between you and every one of your competitors is your marketing and your ability to cultivate repeat and referral business.”
Stuckey (see image), along with vice president Tory Hornsby, are also regular columnists in Dealernews.
Each Dealer Expo conference workshop will be an hour long and held consecutively on Thursday morning, Dec. 4, so participants can attend one, two or all three sessions.
Dealership University specializes in industry specific training, best practices and targeted marketing solutions for powersports dealers and retailers of all sizes. “Offering an exclusive, high-value conference and feature program has been a key factor in securing interest from retailers,” said Mary Slepicka, group content director and publisher of Dealernews. “Retailers today just don’t have the time or money to spend on anything that doesn’t deliver tangible value to their business. The information and training presented during Dealer Expo’s National Retail Conference will provide that value.”
Dealer Expo will be held Friday, Dec. 5 through Sunday, Dec. 7 at McCormick Place West in downtown Chicago. It will be preceded by the one-day DX National Retail Conference on Thursday, Dec. 4, hosted and organized by Dealernews. All registered retail attendees are invited to the DX National Retail Conference educational sessions free of charge.
