AGOURA HILLS, Calif. – Motor Vehicle Software Corporation (MVSC) has redesigned its Registration Management Professional (RMP) training program for 2014, making it the largest of its kind in California, the company said.
RMP training courses offer dealership registration professionals and credit union employees detailed instructions on processing every kind of DMV transaction, from the most common to the most complex. To date, MVSC’s RMP training program has trained more than 1,100 registration professionals across the state. Now, with its extended program, more than 160 registration management classes will be offered this year.
“We are proud that our RMP training program is truly the only certification program of its kind, giving registration professionals the skills and tools to successfully master the DMV registration process,” said Don Armstrong, president and CEO. “Our training team has vast and extensive knowledge of DMV policies and procedures and they are dedicated to helping RMP trainees gain a deep understanding of the most complex DMV concepts.”
The RMP training program comprises five courses designed to meet the diverse needs of new and experienced registration specialists. The program is designed to provide professionals with comprehensive, up-to-date information on DMV processes, news and regulations.
For 2014, MVSC has redesigned its introductory course to include elements for the most entry-level registration professional. MVSC offers three RMP training tracks to accommodate any of their dealer partners’ unique business needs, including auto dealers, powersports, and credit unions. RMP training is open to all dealer registration staff across the state with classes held in 12 California locations.
