Dominion boosts staff for DX1 rollout

NORFOLK, Va. - Dominion Powersports Solutions has hired more reps to help with the rollout of its DX1 business management platform.

New hires Gary Alexander and Bridgett Godwin have a combined track record of more than 20 years working for automotive retail software providers, Dominion said. Alexander and Godwin will be based in Tampa, supporting dealerships throughout Florida and the Southeast.

The new DX1 team also features industry veteran John Fackrell, who worked at ADP Lightspeed as a training leader and in general management and accounting within the dealership environment, Phoenix-based Fackrell will provide implementation services and training to new DX1 dealerships in the Southwest.

Other recent key additions to the DX1 team include Stacy Sewell, who implemented process improvement and management systems for ADP Dealer Services, as well as Bernie Veon, who served in management positions for Dominion Commercial and Dominion Marine Media’s for more than eight years. Sewell will be based in Chicago and Veon in St. Augustine, Fla.

Al Jenik, director of customer experience for Dominion and the chief architect o the DX1 service and support strategy, said the DX1 implementation staff is creating implementation, training and support processes from the dealer point of view, taking each store’s unique needs into account.

“We are positioned to work with dealerships of all sizes, from smaller, family-run operations to large dealerships across the country,” Jenik said, “and will deliver in-depth training in the format that works best for the dealership, whether on site or remote.”

The DX1 system will see an expanded rollout scheduled for the first quarter of 2014, the company noted.
