OVER THE PAST few months, we’ve outlined some of the new and exciting things being implemented to make Dealer Expo 2011 a more valuable experience for our attendees. As the show draws near, here are a few more details about some of these programs.
Basically, Dealer Expo has undergone a total reengineering to develop an all-new experience. Things like a fully segmented show floor — with 11 product and lifestyle marketplaces — make finding the products you and your customers need easier than ever. The renovated and expanded Indiana Convention Center makes this possible, allowing all exhibitors to be housed under one roof. The expanded center also makes possible five exciting enhancements to Dealer Expo:
The DealernewsLearning Experience
This is a vastly expanded seminar and conference program, complete with show floor and classroom sessions. These will feature the latest information on the four primary content pillars from Dealernews: Management, Marketing, Sales and Service. Industry marketing veteran Stephan Ulbrich has worked with the Dealernews staff, along with a team of content experts, to deliver this program to you. This new educational seminar program consists of numerous interactive sessions where you’ll get real-world, business-boosting information that can be used at your dealership immediately. Best of all, this program is absolutely free to registered attendees of Dealer Expo.

1. The National Powersport Auctions (NPA) Auction
For the very first time, there’s a new way to buy at Dealer Expo: a live auction on the show floor! NPA, the leading motorcycle auction house, will run a live auction of pre-owned vehicles and host a series of educational seminars for dealers interested in learning more about the auction process. 2. The Shop
Don’t miss this dynamic and interactive new way to see the latest in parts and maintenance. The Shop is where you’ll experience live parts demonstrations, test out new tools, get hands-on with installations by leading experts, learn new service and sales techniques, and find out how to make your service department more profitable.
3. Fashion-Forward @ Dealer Expo
We bring to life the latest in moto fashion, safety gear and apparel in a high-energy, eye-candy extravaganza, with a live DJ and the Dealer Expo Divas working the stage dressed in the hottest new pieces from apparel lines of participating manufacturers. In between shows, catch videos and demos on how to improve gear and apparel merchandising and sales. Located in the Gear & Apparel Marketplace.
4. Off-Road Cantina
An all-new center in the midst of the Off-Road marketplace, the Off-Road Cantina will be the best place on the show floor to take a load off, grab something to eat, watch motorcycling movie highlights, mingle with friends, and have memorable encounters and autograph sessions with motorcycle stars of the past and present. All of this is in an environment reminiscent of a desert riding stop.
