Double Dog Moto intros Exoskeleton monocoque tails

INDIANAPOLIS, Feb 18, 2011 - From Double Dog Moto comes Composite Exoskeleton Monocoques, which are used to replace the stock metal subframe. The monocoques have a lower weight and higher stiffness than regular subframes, the company says, which leads to better feedback from the chassis and faster acceleration.

The composite monocoques are made of glass fiber and Kevlar. They’re currently available for the Aprilia RSV4, the BMW S1000RR, the Yamaha R1 and Ducati superbikes, with plans to expand into Suzuki and Honda applications in the near future. Visit the Racing & Performance marketplace to view it and Double Dog’s other monocoque offerings.
