BUFFALO, NY. – DP Brakes will be sponsoring Polaris Factory Race Teams for the 2010 Sno X Season plus ESPN’s Winter X-Games.

Multi-Champion Levi Lavallee and Team Lavallee will be one of the teams using DP Brakes throughout the 2010 season.

Lavallee said, ”DP Brakes work awesome on our sleds! I am hard on brakes, but the DP Brakes just keep asking for more punishment.”

He added, “It’s amazing how much braking power you have, and better yet, how durable they are. I trust DP Brakes and wouldn’t want to use any other product.”

Team AMSOIL / US Air Force / Makita Sno X Team, consisting of Robbie Malinoski and Andrew Johnstad, will also be sponsored by DP Brakes in 2010. Team Owner, Steve Schuring said, “After three weeks of brake torture testing on our Polaris IQ’s the DP brake pads were the only pads to pass the test.”

Schuring added, “With brake rotor temps around 700 degrees, the DP brake pads never failed once”.

“We are truly honored to be associated with all of these high profile teams and wish them the success they deserve. Not only are these teams benefiting by using DP Brakes for their 2010 racing season, but countless others will also be fitting DP as their choice of brake pads throughout the year,” stated Larry Mills, President of DP Brakes North America.

Mills continued, “All riders will be racing with our High Performance SDP SNX Snowmobile brake pads. Not only do you receive unbelievable performance, but also they last two to three times longer than stock pads. In addition, they are noise and dust free. We also apply a ceramic heat barrier to the backplate to eliminate heat getting into the hydraulics or brake fluid. Therefore, riders will not experience brake fade”.
