Drag Specialties has announced four new products: diamond-head mirrors, chrome license plate mounts, Python 4-inch slip-on mufflers and an improved primary chain.
Drag Specialties diamond-head mirrors are made from chrome-plated die-cast aluminum. The head size of the mirrors measures 5 inches wide by 2.5 inches high. There are three stem options: 5.75-inch Slayer style or 3.5-inch or 4.5-inch radius style. Sold in pairs, the mirrors include all the necessary chrome hardware for installation. Retail pricing starts at $109.95.
Drag Specialties partnered with bike builder Don Hotop to create chrome license plate mounts. They are available in a small radius (for fenders up to 8 inches wide) and a large radius (for fenders 8 inches and wider). The three-bolt style fits most OEM fenders (not bobbed fenders) that have a three-hole bolt pattern. Some customization may be required for installation, and the mounts come with the frame, backing plate and installation hardware. The Drag Specialties/Hotop radius license plate mounts accept most 4-inch-by-7-inch license plates and are made in the U.S. Retail prices start at $56.95.
Python’s new 4-inch slip-on mufflers have billet tips and use 2-inch baffles for free-flowing exhaust. The baffles also provide a quiet idle and mellow cruising tone but a more aggressive sound when the rider hammers on the throttle, providing “improved performance that you can feel,” according to Drag Specialties. The mufflers also feature the laser-engraved Python logo. The billet tips are available in chrome or black finishes with a straight or angle cut. The angle cut billet tips feature a 30-degree angled radius end that can be rotated up or down on the muffler’s body. The Python Mufflers fit 1995-to-2012 FLT, FLHT, FLHX, FLTR and FLHR models with retail prices starting at $514.95.
Drag Specialties claims its primary chain for most Harley-Davidsons has improved fatigue resistance, which means it’ll last longer and perform better. The chain is also preloaded to reduce stretching. Retail prices start at $71.95.
