JANESVILLE, Wis. -- Halogen lights are obviously old hat, and while HID offers good output, the weighty ballast is a pain to install.

LEDs are the current choice for a variety of reasons: they produce excellent output with very little power draw, are durable and vibration resistant, and offer exceptionally long service lives.

Plus, they look really cool.

Drag Specialties offers several LED headlight packages to replace an old headlight with a cutting-edge seven-inch LED headlight, powered by a made-in-the-U.S.A. "CREE" power LED chip for improved lighting with low power consumption.

The compact LED unit produces a brilliant dual beam that is DOT certified for trouble-free sale and installation. The LED lights last up to 20 times longer than an incandescent headlight.

Each unit comes as a complete assembly with a chrome housing to fit 1986-2014 FLST models (excluding Springers), or as a custom replacement with mounting ring and bucket for single-headlight 1985-2014 FLHT/FLHR models. The touring version has simple plug-in installation, and the headlight retails for $349.95.

Drag Specialties also offers a smaller 5.75-inch headlight that uses the same LED technology to fit as a direct replacement for FXST, FXD and XL models, which retails for $289.95.
