Top 100 dealer Ducati Omaha will hold its grand opening this weekend, starting with a cocktail reception, music and Italian food tonight at 5 p.m. At 7 p.m., the 1199 Panigale will be unveiled for the first time in Omaha.

From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, there will be an open house with Ducati demo rides, Italian food and autographs from AMA Ducati racer Jake Zemke.

The shop moved to a new showroom earlier this year. The new shop design features black porcelain flooring, metallic wall displays and track lighting. Ducati, which is known for its design and performance, designed the dealership's layout including traffic flow, accessory and apparel setup and shelving.

“It's an eye-popping” and “inviting atmosphere,” owner Jarel Jensen told the Omaha World-Herald.

The Omaha dealership is the second in the United States, behind New York, to launch the brand's new retail design. Ducati Omaha is the first exclusive Ducati dealer in North America to unveil the redesign. The company will overhaul stores around the country over the next two years.

“We are the prototype for this design,” Jensen says. “Ducati will be bringing other dealers here to see our design and promote it to other dealerships.”
