Ducati recalls Panigale; rear suspension could detach

DUCATI is recalling certain 2012 Panigale models because of an incorrect screw used to retain the swingarm to the rear suspension linkage. The potential number of units affected is 375.

If the linkage detaches from the swingarm, catastrophic suspension collapse would occur, increasing the risk of a crash, according to NHTSA.

Ducati will be notifying owners, and dealers will inspect and replace, as necessary, the incorrect screw for free.
