BOLOGNA, Italy – Ducati celebrated the start of the International Motor Show of Geneva by unveiling the newest incarnation of the Diavel sport cruiser. The model joins Ducati’s 2014 lineup and includes the Dark, Carbon Red and Carbon White options.

Claudio Domenicali, CEO of Ducati Motor Holding, presented the Diavel during Volkswagen Group Night, showing off the latest version of the Testastretta 11-degree DS engine, a new exhaust system and updated technology.

Some of the updates to the Diavel include LED lights, ABS, Ducati Traction Control and Ducati Riding Modes. Ducati says that the Testrastretta puts out 162hp and gets power to the ground with a 240 section rear tire. The updated styling is intended to offer better ergonomics and more comfort.

The Diavel also includes Marzocchi fully-adjustable forks, an adjustable Sachs monoshock, Pirelli Diablo Rosso II tires and Brembo brake calipers.

The Diavel Dark ($17,995) has an all-black motif. The Diavel Carbon Red ($20,995) has the classic Ducati red paint and frame along with matte carbon styling. White bodywork and frame paint are the hallmarks of the Carbon White ($20,995). Both of the carbon models have Marchesini wheels, and the carbon touches include the tank panels, single-seat cover and front mudguard.

All three Diavel options will begin arriving in Ducati dealerships in April of 2014.
