Elvis Presley Enterprises, Inc. is auctioning the last bike in the "Elvis Presley 30th Anniversary Signature Motorcycle Collection," for charity on eBay From Dec. 8 to Jan. 8.
Bikes numbered 1-29 in the series have all sold, according to bike donor Bruce Rossmeyer, CEO of 13 Harley-Davidson dealerships including Graceland Harley-Davidson. The auction of bike No. 30 will benefit Presley Place, a provider of transitional housing for homeless families in Memphis , TN.
Elvis Presley Enterprises, Inc. plans to auction the last motorcycle on E-bay beginning Dec. 8 and ending on Elvis' birthday, Jan. 8, 2008.
Rossmeyer created the one-of-a-kind collection of Elvis Presley-inspired, custom designed motorcycles to commemorate the 30th anniversary of Presley's passing. The collection recreates the personalized 1957 Black Harley-Davidson FLH model that Presley once owned. Motorcycles numbered 1-29 were delivered at the front steps of the Graceland Mansion Aug. 15, during Elvis Week 2007.
