ST. LOUIS, Mo. - What you ride in Vegas can stay in Vegas, with Enterprise Rent-A-Car’s new fleet of Harley-Davidson motorcycles offered for rent at a new branch in town.
“We chose to pilot motorcycle rental in Las Vegas because we saw an opportunity to serve a large segment of travelers who are interested in renting motorcycles to visit nearby attractions like the Strip, the Grand Canyon, Hoover Dam and Lake Mead,” said Steve Short, vice president of Enterprise Rent-A-Car. “We will continue to listen to our customers and announce plans for future growth based on that feedback.”
Initially the fleet will be all Harley, but the company is leaving open the possibility of adding other marques.
Customers can immediately rent five different Harley-Davidson models – Street Glide, Road Glide Custom, Electra Glide Classic, Electra Glide Ultra Limited and Road Glide Ultra – and the company plans to add the Heritage Softail Classic and Fat Boy Lo models to its Las Vegas fleet by the end of November.
All motorcycle renters must carry a valid motorcycle license. Enterprise will provide all motorcycle renters with helmets free of charge. Nevada state law requires that all motorcycle riders wear helmets.
The branch is the first of its kind in the United States among major rental car companies.
