Black Diamond Harley-Davidson hosted its first Fight Night Feb. 20, bringing out 30 mixed martial arts (MMA) fighters and a good crowd to watch them.
"I'm very happy with the turnout," Tim Fickes, owner of Dojo USA and fight promotion company Kage One Productions told The Southern newspaper. "My preparation started about 30 days ago. These things aren't easy to put together. This event has a lot of fighters and each has a camp, manager and trainer and all those things you have to cater to."
Black Diamond Marketing Director Jeremy Pinkston said Black Diamond hopes to expand its MMA presence by hosting four events per year.
