Fire at a St. Peters, Mo., business that makes Harley-Davidson logo products temporarily closed the business, but a sprinkler system contained most of the damage in one room at Global Products.
The Sunday night fire left a lot of smoke and soot damage behind, pushing back production until after a cleanup.
Business owner Rebecca Herwick told KMOV she and employees were cleaning up after the two-alarm blaze. She says she’s baffled at what caused the fire in a screen cleaning room used to wash silk screens used to put logos onto T-shirts, mouse pads, hats and other H-D-branded items. The business sells to dealerships worldwide.
