A powersports dealership in Fruitport Township, Mich., was all but destroyed by fire this week.

It took almost three hours and the combined efforts of the Norton Shores, Muskegon Township and Fruitport Township fire departments to put out a blaze that damaged much of Metric Motorsports, according to the Grand Rapids Press, which also has photos of the fire.

Emergency crews responded to a large structure fire after passers-by reported black smoke billowing from the building around 9:30 p.m. Monday.

Norton Shores Fire Department Chief David Purchase says no one was injured and the cause of the fire is under investigation.

About 20 intact ATVs, motorcycles and scooters were removed from the showroom. Few of the vehicles that could be driven or pushed out a side door showed any signs of damage, according to the newspaper.
