BOISE, Idaho – Some states are still covered in snow and ice, but FLY Racing promises that warmer days are coming with Kinetic Mesh Racewear, a 2014 update to their hot-weather offroad gear.
Mesh ventilation panels are located throughout the pants and jerseys, although FLY Racing says that the gear still has the integrity necessary for the rigors of track and trail riding.
The three color schemes offered in Kinetic Mesh are blue/navy, red/black and teal/hi-visibility orange. The jerseys ($32.95) have a tagless collar, sublimated graphics, an extended tail and shorty cuffs. Sizing for youth ranges from YS to YXL, and adult sizing starts at S and goes all the way to 5X.
The pants ($109.95) have the mesh inserts combined with leather heat shield panels inside each leg, stretch-rib panels and a fully vented knee that is contoured to accommodate knee braces. A comfort mesh liner and internal pocket are part of the package, as is a zipper lock system to prevent wardrobe malfunctions.
Sizing for the Kinetic Mesh pants includes 18 to 26 in youth options and 28 to 48 in adult sizes.
