NORTHHAMPTONSHIRE, United Kingdom - Forcefield Body Armor has developed four new CE-approved spine protectors to cover a range of riders, budgets and riding styles.
The least expensive new back protector is the $149 Blade L2. Available in three sizes, the L2 is designed with a lightweight low-profile shape ideal for motocross and other off-road riding. Hot weather-friendly vent channels help cool the rider and 3D molding maintains an accurate fit.
The $169 Pro L2K Evo is a traditional road race spine protector that features Forcefield’s proprietary Repeat Performance Technology (RPT) for consistent performance in multiple impacts. The adjustable Level 2 CE protector also comes in two ladies-specific sizes for female riders looking for proper protection.
Next up is the compact $199 Pro Sub 4. Featuring a breathable and washable outer cover, the Pro Sub 4 molds to the body’s shape while still offering maximum protection; the back protector is claimed to offer the world’s lowest force transmission ever when subject the impact specified during CE level 2 testing.
Finally, the $274 Airo Vest combines a highly flexible CE approved back protector with a Coolmax breathable fabric vest with a zip front entry system. Also available in three sizes, the Airo is designed to be the ultimate lightweight spine guard for use under existing motorcycle riding gear.
