Former employees of defunct Action Motorsports have stepped up to fill the void in Lafayette, Minn., opening Twin City Motorsports.

Offering sales, service and parts, the business opened in a former office supply store.

"Lafayette needs a place for motorcycle parts, sales and service. We hope to take care of their needs," Twin City Motorsports owner Mike Claycomb told the Journal and Courier. "We sell used ATVs, scooters, dirt bikes and street bikes. We want this to be the one-stop shop. We also (sell) snowmobiles and a little bit of watercraft."

Claycomb and two of his four employees worked at Action Motorsports before it closed. He was with the company at two Lafayette locations for more than 10 years.

The shop works on Honda, Yamaha, Kawasaki, Polaris, Harley-Davidson and BRP models, among others, and also carries PG&A.

"We have any kind of accessories you need and a full-line service department with about 45 years of combined experience," Claycomb says.
