Four Michigan Harley-Davidson dealers have signed on with Chrome Capital for its TestRide lease program.

The new additions are Brighton Harley-Davidson of Brighton; ABC Harley-Davidson of Waterford Township; Biker Bob’s Harley-Davidson of Taylor; and Capitol Harley-Davidson of Dimondale.

Lease terms are two or three years with no mileage restrictions, and no further obligation. When the TestRide period comes to an end, the customer can renew the lease, buy the bike or return it to the dealer.

“We submitted 40 applications in the first weekend,” says Brighton Harley-Davidson GM Dan “Gus” Gusoff. “The Chrome Calculator delivers model- and year-specific lease quotes instantly, allowing our sales managers to close more deals. Everyone who walks in the door is offered the TestRide.”

Gary Krupa, GM at ABC Harley-Davidson, is an advocate of using the TestRide to get new riders on a bike, ”We are in a challenging marketplace in Michigan,” he says. “This is a new tool we can use to get a Michigan rider to get on a bike at good rate, with no to low down – it complements our goals.”

Chrome Capital aims to sign on the top U.S. 200 Harley-Davidson dealerships by the end of 2012.
