Longtime industry veteran and management expert Frank Esposito has been tapped to direct a new series of dealer management seminars as part of the Dealernews Learning Experience at Dealer Expo.

The seminars are offered free to registered dealer attendees for the 2011 show, to be held Feb. 18-20 in Indianapolis. The Learning Experience is chaired by Stephan Ulbrich.

"We are thrilled to have Frank Espositio, President of Kendon USA, leading management training at the 2011 Dealer Expo,” Ulbrich said. “Frank's education and wealth of industry knowledge from many sides of the business gives him a unique perspective on what really motivatesd and drives business success. Every dealer looking to improve their culture and bottom-line profits should attend these sessions."

Esposito, currently president of Kendon Industries, also has manned the helm at Global Motorsports/Custom Chrome and Tucker Rocky Distributing. He chairs the Aftermarket Subcommittee of the Motorcycle Industry Council, and is a frequent speaker at industry events.

“My presentation and the workshops we’re creating are founded on one core belief: There is no higher service than the service of others,” Esposito said.

Each day the Management track will open with a lecture, followed by a series of workshops on engaging your workforce, and building a culture of customer empathy. Esposito said the workshops will be interactive, will involve a self-assessment tool, and will include a workbook participants can take back to their stores and use immediately to achieve results.

One notable feature in the Management track as the industry finally emerges from recession: a session on succeeding after failure. “What have we learned from some of the largest failures in our industry? Is there a common element? I've lived through some of them, and learned some hard lessons,” Esposito noted.

The Learning Experience seminars will kick off Friday morning, Feb. 18, at Dealer Expo, and run throughout the weekend. For more information, visit www.dealerexpo.com.
