Back when Wally Hoock first started working for the Fulmer Companies, the company hadn't even yet started in the business it's very famous for now — helmets.
It was April 21, 1949, and Hoock was still a few years out of serving the country in World War II. It would be another 20 years before Fulmer Helmets expanded out of the seat covering and car and motorcycle accessories business hit the market with its legendary lid.
Now as Fulmer Helmets is celebrates its 40th anniversary, Hoock is whooping it up for his 60th. The longtime sales rep is still working the St. Louis area.
Happy anniversary, Hoock.
