August 17, 2006 - American IronHorse Motorcycle Co. today reported that Wil Garland will be leaving his CEO position on August 31 to pursue another career opportunity.

Garland has been with American IronHorse for two years and has helped the company make key industry strides with new production systems, dealer development programs and marketing initiatives.  Garland will assume a new position as President of Cannon Solutions, a $3.2 billion global subsidiary of IMI plc that provides custom point-of-purchase merchandising and direct marketing systems. Prior to joining American IronHorse, he held top executive positions with worldwide institutions, such as Procter & Gamble, Coca-Cola, the Pentland Group, and ADS Corp.

Founding American IronHorse Board of Director and current Chairman, Dwayne A. Moyers, will assume Garland’s responsibilities until an executive search is complete. Moyers is also Chairman and CEO of Xponential Inc. (Nasdaq:XPOI), which is AIH’s largest shareholder.

"We are very glad to have had Wil’s leadership these last few years. He has been a strong visionary and he has helped to greatly improve our business environment,” said Moyers. “Wil also has been a vital asset in helping to strengthen our core team of managers here at IronHorse. We value his time served with AIH and we wish him the very best in his new endeavor.”

While at IronHorse, Garland has worked closely with the company’s team of founding managers, including Jeff Long, Vice President of Design and Scott Waters, Vice President of Engineering & Product Development. Long and Waters are responsible for the latest release of IronHorse’s all-new 2007 Slammer model. Together they work with a team of veterans in production, customer service, IT and finance. Other tenured and key corporate executives at IronHorse include BW Clark, Vice President of Product Supply; Bob Krause, Chief Financial Officer; James “LT” Little, Director of Warranty; Sam Sumner, Director of IT; and Brad Van Dyke, Director of Quality.

“There is a strong and talented team at American IronHorse whose history with the company is invaluable. They are poised to do impressive things in the future,” said Garland. “I am honored to have worked with such a fine group of employees whose passion and dedication to quality have made IronHorse a great success today.”

In other news, American IronHorse has promoted its chief sales leader Gary Sipes to Vice President of Sales & Marketing. Sipes has been with American IronHorse for five years and was formerly National Sales Director. While at AIH, he has strengthened the company’s dealer network and sales department.  In his new Vice President of Sales & Marketing post, Sipes will now take command of all key marketing programs for IronHorse, including advertising, communications, dealer co-op, events, and promotions. Additionally, the company’s Canadian operations will be led by Sipes. During his career, Sipes has held former management positions in sales and marketing with well-known companies, such as Yamaha Motor Corp. and Chrome Specialties.
