There’s no shortage of cycle shops in the Gastonia, N.C. area, but shop owner and mechanic Benjamin Segal says his Gaston Motorcycle Werks fills a niche repairing classics.
“I have always ridden older bikes and I searched for years, high and low, trying to find someone I felt I could trust to work on my bike, and I just never found him,” Segal, a self-taught mechanic who has been working on bikes since the late 1980s, told the Shelby Star.
“There are a lot of riders out there who are riding older model bikes that dealers either don’t want to mess with or don’t have the experience to work on,” Segal says.
