EDMONTON, Alberta - Canadian distributor Visionary Motorsports Ltd. has chosen GE Capital's Commercial Distribution Finance (CDF) as its preferred inventory financing provider.
Visionary Motorsports began working with CDF in 2008.
"Because of our longstanding position in the Canadian motorsports market, we're prepared to help Visionary and its dealers analyze their inventory management processes. We'll also provide them with comprehensive market intelligence and digital account management tools that they can leverage to succeed," said Howard Shiebler, president and CEO of CDF in Canada.
Established in 2005 by a group of powersports enthusiasts, Edmonton-based Visionary serves 190 dealers across Canada. The company has a roster of brands including: Hisun ATVs and UTVs, Kipor power equipment, Cleveland Cyclewerks motorcycles, Pitster Pro pit bikes, and Linhai ATVs and UTVs.
"Visionary Motorsports Ltd. has ambitious plans which are fueled by the explosive growth experienced in the last three years," said Neil Vanderkooi, director of business development. "Our goal now is to support this growth by better servicing our rapidly expanding dealer network. With CDF as the preferred inventory financing provider for Visionary Motorsports, the process of moving product from the manufacturer's assembly line to our dealer's floor is now simplified; assisting in the development of our brands in the Canadian market."
