COMMERCE, Ga. – The state Department of Driver Services (DDS) will offer motorcycle license testing (MLT) Saturday at the Southern Cruisers 2013 Rally as part of the Georgia Motorcycle Safety Program.

The department encourages all riders to get licensed and trained. “The mobile license testing program offers a convenient way for valid motorcycle permit holders to test for their full motorcycle license at community sponsored events throughout the state,” said Commissioner Rob Mikell.

Upon passing the test, Georgia motorcycle permit holders can get their Georgia Class M license through a 90-day license test waiver, which is presented at any DDS’ customer service center for license issuance.
