German luggage maker taps two new U.S. retailers

German luggage maker Hepco & Becker has tapped two new importers for the United States: Adventure MotoStuff of Carson City, Nev., and Machines LLC of Sterling, Va., will import and distribute the full range of Hepco & Becker motorcycle luggage and protection systems.

“The appointment of these new importers underscores our commitment to the American market,” says Stephan Sauer, director of export sales for the company. “With increased inventory in the USA and a more efficient distribution system we will offer better service and value to our customers.”

The company is “revising” its dealer network with an emphasis on product knowledge and customer service and correct installation of luggage carriers and protection. New inventory is in shipment for spring.

It also recently moved to a larger, “purpose-built” factory and warehouse complex in Pirmasens, Germany to expand production on its products, which include leather bags, engine and tank protection bars, center stands, skid plates, headlight grilles and crash pads.
