GOWANDA, N.Y. - Gowanda Harley-Davidson’s annual employee cookoff gathered 364 lbs. of nonperishable food items this year for the Gowanda Food Pantry.

"The Gowanda Food Pantry shared with us that they served over 90 homes in the month of November, and that each home in need gets enough food for three days. This is just our part to make sure those in our community don't go without a few good meals, and we really owe it all to our customers, our staff, and the volunteer staff at the Gowanda Food Pantry," Tim McKeever, marketing manager for Gowanda Harley-Davidson, told the Observer Today. "We asked our customers and staff that, during our cookoff, they would bring a few non-perishable food items in to donate to the food pantry, and they showed up with overwhelming support."

The Gowanda Food Pantry serves the communities that reside within the Gowanda Central School District.
