ELMHURST, Ill. – The largest independent used motorcycle dealer in Illinois is opening its new headquarters April 1, following a move to accommodtate the 35 percent average growth rate it has had since its 2010 start.

iMotorsports’ purchase of an old Suzuki car dealership in Elmhurst will provide an additional 17,000 sq. ft. space for a full service department, a 3,000 sq. ft. parts department and five new full-time employees.

The company will move out of an 8,000 sq. ft. space in nearby Roselle to its new Elmhurst location, where plans include expanding into new motorcycle sales.

“iMotorsports is a nontraditional dealer with low overhead that continues to grow steadily with consumers who continue to purchase more goods online every year,” said Haider Saba, president, iMotorsports, adding that 25 percent of iMotorsports customers purchase motorcycles sight unseen. “This move will allow our staff to serve our customers even better and continue on the growth path to achieve our ultimate goal of becoming the destination dealership of Illinois.”

iMotorsports began selling all types of motorcycles, including sport, cruisers, touring, trikes, dual-sport and standard, online in 2001. With a commitment to carefully selected inventory, quality guarantees and free shipping in the continental United States, iMotorsports expects to sell 250 motorcycles this year. The company works with several lenders and also offers layaway and trade-in programs.
