OCALA, Fla. - Richard Barner and wife Valerie Thompson have amassed a serious collection of vintage motorcycles, which is stashed in a warehouse behind their H&B Cycles near Ocala.

The collection includes flat track racing Harleys and 1980 and 1981 limited-edition custom “Willie G.” models designed by Willie G. Davidson. But the collection isn’t limited to Harleys. It also includes Triumph and BMW motorcycles, and Honda and Cushman scooters.

Two of the bikes were famous on the silver screen: a blue 1953 Indian Chief that Paramount used as a prop, and a Ural that was featured in an Indiana Jones film.

“H&B is the real deal,” customer Jack Thomas, who drove there from Tampa to find a part for his 1989 Harley-Davidson Softail, told the Ocala Star-Banner, “Richard has forgotten more than I know about Harleys.”
