NEW BERLIN, Wis. – Renovations are under way at family-owned Hal's Harley-Davidson, which has just finished modifying its 12,000-sq.-ft. showroom and office and is adding a café and the Eric Buell Racing line.

The dealership will celebrate the changes with an open house May 9 and 10 featuring showroom tours, EBR 1190RX demo rides for qualified riders, giveaways and refreshments.

Improvements in the first phase of renovation included an expanding the merchandise area, updating staff offices, adding new interior graphics and cabinetry. The second phase of the construction will focus on sprucing up the exterior of the main entrance and the adding a street café.

The remodel comes in time for the arrival of the new EBR 1190RX, under the dealership’s new arrangement as exclusive dealer of Erik Buell Racing motorcycles in southeastern Wisconsin.

“It’s an exciting time for Hal’s as we improve our showroom to enhance our customers’ experience and branch out with the new EBR line,” owner Kirk Topel told the Business Times. “Whether you are just learning or have been riding for years, we are always looking at ways to help our customers achieve a complete riding experience.”
