Harley-Davidson has extended, for a second time, its Competitive Bike Exchange trade-in program by a month. The program will now last through March 31. But this go-around, the company also has sweetened the deal for people looking to buy noncurrent inventory.
The Motor Co. has increased from $500 to $1,000 the amount it will pay over the negotiated trade-in value of eligible competitive brand motorcycles toward the purchase of qualified new, untitled 2008 and 2009 Harley-Davidson motorcycles.
The offer remains at $500 for 2010 Harley-Davidson motorcycles.
People who bought a 2008 or 2009 motorcycle that qualified for the program prior to Feb. 8 will receive a $500 Harley-Davidson gift card in the mail as a thank-you for their purchase.
