WEST FARGO, N.D. – Visitors to the open house at Harley-Davidson of Fargo this weekend are eligible to win goodies while they look at plans for a new dealership on a 10-acre parcel nearby.

The Entenmann family bought the dealership last November, adding it to their company that includes Glacial Lakes Harley-Davidson in Watertown, S.D., and Top 100 Dealer J&L Harley-Davidson in Sioux Falls, S.D.

The first renderings of the planned 25,000-sq.-ft. store are on view. The new location will have bays for seven service technicians and a Dyno machine. The land area has room for expansion, which one day could include a Riding Academy range, said co-owner Jim Entenman.

“The new store will offer easy access for our customers and be extremely visible from the interstate,” he told Prairie Business magazine. “We are an event-driven business and this will allow us to better serve the Fargo area.”

The plans are awaiting city commission approval before the family can break ground. “The project has an eight-month construction period,” Entenman said. “We hope to be in the new building by May 1 of next year, if not sooner.”
