SAN DIEGO HARLEY-DAVIDSON is looking to give a boost to its rental department by teaming up with a local hotel.

Through October 25, the dealership and Hard Rock Hotel San Diego are offering travelers a Hard Rock and a Hog package that includes a two-night stay in a suite, a full-day Harley motorcycle rental, a map of local rides, a gift bag of H-D goodies and an all-American breakfast at the hotel’s retro-chic diner. The package starts at $239 per night, a saving of about 60 percent, according to a press release.

San Diego's nice weather lasts well into fall, and California Bike Week kicks off at the end of October. So the package could be quite successful.

“When you find yourself between a rock and a ‘hog place,’ it’s time to kick back and putt, putt, putt — and when you ride the wheels off, it’s good to have a cool place to rest your butt,” Myke Shelby, owner of San Diego Harley-Davidson, said in the press release.

The hotel’s suites come with three connecting spaces — bedroom, bathroom and living room. Guests will also receive VIP access to nightlife venues, and a $40 meal voucher for breakfast.
