WEST FARGO, N.D. – First things first: new management at Harley-Davidson of Fargo will have a grand reopening celebration April 4 at the store they bought in November.

By then the new owners hope to close on a deal for a nearly 10-acre site with highway frontage to build a new facility that’s expected to open by May 1, 2015.

Jim Entenman, co-owner of J&L Harley-Davidson in Sioux Falls, S.D., and his sons, Joe and Jimmy Entenman, bought the Fargo shop from Dell Hofer, a longtime friend. The younger sons now operate the West Fargo shop but are leasing the shop space. They hope to have a design finished by April.

“We’ll be able to speak more to the specifics then,” Entenman told InForum. “It will be a great addition to our existing business. Dell was a well-known dealer throughout the Harley-Davidson world. We’re very happy we’ll be able to continue that.”

The family also owns Glacial Lakes H-D in Watertown and Big Sioux Powersports.

The new site will let the Entenmans expand the store footprint and grow the staff from about 15 employees today to 25.

“We’re really big into events, and that will give us the opportunity to get into more events like bike nights, demo rides and all that,” Entenman said.
