Harley hits target: Fifth dealership open in India


Harley-Davidson has met its target of opening five dealerhisp in India by year-end with the opening of the Tusker Harley-Davidson in Bangalore yesterday.

“Tusker Harley-Davidson is designed expressly to reflect our heritage and culture, while providing a world-class customer experience to all Harley customers and aficionados across the region,” says said Anoop Prakash, Managing Director, Harley-Davidson India. “With Srinivas Reddy at the helm of Tusker Harley-Davidson, we look forward to ushering in a new era of motorcycling in Bangalore.”

The dealership will offer the entire 2010 Harley-Davidson India lineup of 12 motorcycle models, in addition to PG&A.

“I have always believed that motorcycling is not just a means of transport but a life-changing pursuit,” says Tusker managing director Reddy. “The launch of Tusker Harley-Davidson marks an important milestone for leisure riding in Bangalore as we introduce the city to the pure Harley-Davidson way of life.. The Motor Co.’s other Indian dealerships are Seven Islands Harley-Davidson in Mumbai, Capital Harley-Davidson in New Delhi, Himalayan Harley-Davidson in Chandigarh and Banjara Harley-Davidson in Hyderabad.
