NEWBURY PARK, Calif. - Haynes Manuals has started providing its motorcycle and ATV manuals electronically, with 10 editions now available and 40 more expected. The company initially introduced electronic manuals last fall.

“The electronic product includes all of the information in the print version but additional features are provided to help the DIYer get the job done right,” said

The company outlines the following features of Haynes Motorcycle & ATV Manuals Online:

  •               All-color photographs
  •               Ability to enlarge a photo to see key details
  •               All-color wiring diagrams
  •               Easy search functionality
  •               Dictionary of motorcycle-specific terms
  •               Hyperlinks to additional information
  •               Quick links to the most popular DIY procedures
  •               Detailed troubleshooting section

Haynes Manuals Online can be accessed from any portable electronic device with an Internet connection, including laptops, smart phones and tablets.

Every Haynes manual is written from hands-on experience based on a complete teardown, which is the step-by-step procedure of dismantling a particular vehicle part-by-part. This is followed by the detailed rebuilding of the specific model it documents.

Haynes traditional printed product line will continue to be marketed with an ongoing program of updates and new titles.

Haynes Manuals Online is already through Haynes’ website and through select auto parts store  websites.
