Helmet House mourns passing of longtime employee

Helmet House announced today that Joann Golden, office manager and assistant to the president, passed away at her home after a long illness. She had been a Helmet House employee and was well-known among dealer clientele for 25 years.

"Joann was the heart and soul, the emotional center of Helmet House for a quarter-century," said Phil Bellomy, vice president and co-founder of Helmet House. "Her strong relationships with several hundred dealers within the Helmet House dealer network helped our business grow to become the success it is today. We will all miss her greatly."

Golden handled accounting duties for dealer accounts and assisted the company's top executives.

She is survived by her long-time partner, Jim, and her children, Wendy and Danny. A memorial service will be held June 19 in Northridge, Calif.
