TORRANCE, Calif. - American Honda has honored ADP Lightspeed with a Premier Partner Award.

ADP Lightspeed was one of only 15 award recipients selected from more than 1,000 American Honda associates nationwide.

American Honda president and CEO Tetsuo Iwamura (centered in image) presented the award to Greg Smith (left) and Dave Johnson of ADP Lightspeed for excellence in providing business management solutions to Honda dealers.

“We are honored to be partners with Honda and to accept this award” said Smith, general manager at ADP Lightspeed. “We have enjoyed the longevity of this partnership and are anticipating many more years of mutual benefits. For nearly three decades, Honda has played an important role in helping make our dealer management system a superior product and service for the end user. We value this partnership and are excited to see it continue.”

American Honda established the Premier Partner Awards in 1998 to recognize suppliers who embrace the OEM's philosophy of exceeding customer expectations. This year’s award winners represent excellence in a variety of industries, including logistics, transportation, marketing, consulting and security, Honda stated.

“Today we acknowledge an outstanding group of suppliers who exemplify Honda’s philosophy of delivering the highest possible value to our customers through quality products and customer service,” said Gary Kessler, the OEM's senior vice president of human resources, administration and corporate affairs. “With all of the different facets of our business, we appreciate the outstanding support from these dedicated organizations and thank them for their contribution to Honda’s success.”
