TORRANCE, Calif. - Honda has unveiled a new generation of its FourTrax Rancher (pictured in red) and FourTrax Foreman (pictured in camo) ATVs, with new frames, suspension and styling. The models will be available this fall for yet-to-be-determined prices.

Also new are the CRF125F and CRF125F Big Wheel with an electric-start engine, a new chassis and upgraded front and rear suspension. The models replace the CRF80 and CRF100F beginner dirtbikes. They will be available in September with MSRPs of $2,799 and $3,199, respectively.

These new units were among several 2014 off-road models that Honda announced yesterday. Returning models are the CRF50F (available in October with a retail price of $1,399), the CRF110F (October, $1,999), the CRF150F (September, price TBD), the CRF230F (August, $4,170), the CRF450X (October, price TBD), the TRX90X (September, price TBD), the TRX250X (November, $4,499), the TRX400X (December, price TBD), and the TRX 450R (September, price TBD).

"These new models, along with additional Honda favorites returning for the new model year, demonstrate Honda's commitment to providing more choices to our customers, and we'll be introducing more exciting new models in the coming months as Honda continues to lead the expansion of the powersports market,” said Honda’s powersports press manager, Bill Savino.

Honda's liquid-cooled fuel-injected 420cc FourTrax Rancher models feature a redesigned frame with new, longer-travel suspension. The new chassis is wrapped in all-new bodywork.

The multiple choices in FourTrax Rancher drivetrain styles remain:

  • the 4WD FourTrax Rancher 4x4 ES features Honda's Electric Shift Program that makes gear shifts as easy as pushing a button;
  • the 4WD FourTrax Rancher Automatic DCT features Honda's Dual Clutch Transmission, a five-speed fully automatic transmission that also gives the rider the option of ESP mode;
  • the FourTrax Rancher 4x4 offers riders 4WD with a traditional manual-shift gearbox; and
  • the two-wheel-drive FourTrax Rancher is available with manual or electric shift.

Most of these models also offer the option of Electric Power Steering. Color options will be Honda Phantom Camo, olive, red and orange. (Continued.)
