Hot Rod Harley-Davidson is branching out with plans to develop a motorcycle-themed restaurant and bar adjacent to the dealership on in downtown Muskegon, Mich.

Muskegon’s City Commission has recommended approval of a new liquor license for Carl Miskotten and Carlie & Tracy’s Saugatuck Breeze LLC, according to the Muskegon Chronicle.

Miskotten is planning a casual dining restaurant, tentatively named Wheel Works, with 120 seats, three indoor bars and space to serve customers outside during good weather.

“People come in and are waiting for some work to be done on their bikes. Now, they will be able to get some lunch,” Miskotten says. “It’s also for our events.”

Miskotten and business partner Mark Campbell opened Hot Rod Harley in 2007. Miskotten is a professional race car driver and auto-auction owner; Campbell is an oncologist and motorcycle enthusiast. p>
