HOLLISTER, Calif. – House of Thunder Harley-Davidson has signed on as a presenting sponsor of the historic Hollister Motorcycle rally, which returns to the town July 5 and 6.
The House of Thunder display will be on the corner of San Benito and 6th streets in downtown Hollister. Additionally other special events will take place at the 22,000 sq. ft. Morgan Hill dealership all weekend. The store has won multiple customer service and mechanical aptitude awards since it opened in 2000.
As part of the rally revival, Progressive RV will bring a new interactive experience to the event, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. both days. Hollister Rally manager Mark Cresswell said. Progressive's customized 34-ft.-long RV, which features The Insiders Guide, a virtual destination adventure; Custom T-shirt Press, Progressive Lounge and Pickles Pet Shop (where visitors’ pets get a special treat).
The Jack Daniel's Experience will be in town just a short distance from the rally's ACE Café and beer garden, a Triumph Motorcycles display, Iron & Air magazine.
Mike Corbin's Workshop will be host a Bike Show Friday as a warm-up to the official rally show Saturday. Joining in this special event will be industry veteran Craig Vetter and a host of motorcycles that are part of the Vetter Fuel Economy Challenge (http://www.craigvetter.com ). Other classes include Bobbers, Choppers, Radical Baggers, Antiques and more. All makes and models are welcome and there is no cost to enter.
Corbin will also welcome Terry Hershner, who just finished a cross-country trip on a Zero motorcycle. Corbin is offering a 10% discount on all Corbin accessories ordered during the Hollister Rally.
