Husqvarna Motorcycles North America used the excitement of last week's Endurocross race in Las Vegas as the focal point for its national dealer convention.
Husqvarna became a part of the BMW Group in October 2007. Since then, BMW has assembled new Husqvarna leadership, adopted new processes and strived to reposition the brand with new dealers and those who've remained true to the company.
Recognizing retailers that made the ongoing repositioning possible was an important order of business, says Husqvarna Motorcycles North America President Mark Brady.
Brady and Husqvarna Motorcycles srl. President Rainer Thoma presented the following awards to dealers:
Top National Husqvarna Dealer: Hall's Cycles, Springfield, Mo.
Top Midwest Region Husqvarna Dealer: Hall's Cycles, Springfield, Mo.
Top Northwest Region Husqvarna Dealer: Bill's Motorcycles Plus, Salem, Ore.
Top Northeast Region Husqvarna Dealer: Central Jersey Cycles, New Egypt, N.J.
Top Southwest Region Husqvarna Dealer: MotoXotica, Vacaville, Calif.
Top Southeast Region Husqvarna Dealer: Upstate Cycle, Greenville, S.C.
Relative Marketshare Performance: Sage Motorsports, Tarrenton, Idaho
First Runner-Up In Relative Marketshare Performance: L & D Race Tech, Warrenton, Ore.
"We know business is tough, but with our wholesale and retail financing, better communication with the factory, a host of new policies and programs to expedite business and of course, the new 2010 motorcycles, Husqvarna is ready to race ahead," Brady said.
