WASHINGTON, Ill. – It’s not easy to keep Indian motorcycles in stock at Integ Motorsports in East Peoria, which received its first shipment last month.

“We’re selling them about as fast as we can get them,” owner Will Thomas told the Washington Times Reporter. “People travel from all over to see them.”

Integ Motorsports is the only Indian dealership within 100 miles. The shop also sells Victory bikes.

“To have something 99 percent American made is amazing,” said Thomas. “We want to keep that business right here in the U.S.”

Integ, which has been operating in East Peoria for four years, got calls from customers asking for Indian. “When we hit 500, my wife (Dana) and I said, ‘We better become an Indian dealer,’” Thomas said.

Integ has been the No. 1 dealer in the district and region over the last three years, which helped get the Indian franchise.

Door swings are up significantly as a direct result of Indian being brought into the fold. Integ, a family business, is exploring a possible new site in East Peoria with a technologically advanced facility. A decision is expected by September.
