Service Manager Pro is at Booth 5150, giving dealers the lowdown on the Web-based service’s labor times, technical specifications, and guide to diagnostic trouble codes.
Service Manager Pro’s database includes labor times for 14,000 motorcycles, scooters, ATVs, UTVs, personal watercraft, snowmobiles, boats and generators. Years range from 1974 through 2012 for manufacturers such as Harley-Davidson, Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki, Yamaha, Polaris, Victory and Arctic Cat. The database contains more than 2 million different labor operations, including everything from minor repairs to major overhauls.
Once users have selected a particular model, they can click on any of the labor operations they want to perform and build an online printable estimate. If a dealership uses the Commander, Brainstorm or Ideal Computer Solutions dealer management system, Service Manager Pro’s data will automatically populate the repair order without anyone having to retype the labor operations.
A more important feature is the collection of diagnostic trouble codes. Service Manager Pro has amassed all the codes for Harley-Davidson, Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki and Yamaha. A “specifications” button gives users quick access to more than 100,000 correct fluid levels and tightening torques.
Packages start at $24.95 per month, and dealers can sign up for a 30-day free trial at www.servicemanagerpro.com.Subscriptions are per-rooftop, meaning each subscriber can have an unlimited number of users in both the service department and at the parts counter.
Service Manager Pro will also be offering service manager and service writer training in select cities in 2012. Visit the service’s website to view the course curriculum. Service Manger Pro also explains why many of its customers experienced a 20 percent increase in gross profit in 2011.
