Yeah, OK, but Dealer Expo is in the middle of February — that’s like six weeks into the new year. You want to get going now and be ready on January 1.
How about rethinking when your year begins? Mine begins right after Dealer Expo ends. That’s right, my calendar runs from March to February (or maybe April to March, when I consider Daytona). Why? Because that’s the right timing for powersports shows. That’s my business, and I arrange my calendar to work with it.
Dealer Expo is scheduled in February not because there’s a convenient three-day weekend (there are many throughout the year), but because it works for the powersports industry. The selling season begins after February — will you be ready for it?
Make it work for you. Get your list of questions together. Decide what has priority this year. Then come to Dealer Expo and “git ’er done”!
