THE BIG WORLD of motorcycling, ATVing and all other powersporting activities thrives on the apparel, gear and new helmet models released each year and season.
While we’re a long way from being a fashion-driven business, sporting trends do tend to keep things flowing.
Over at the big Apparel-Gear-Helmet Marketplace, Dealer Expo exhibitors will be laying out a plethora of products, an abundance of apparel and loads of lids — from adventure bike kits to sportbike leathers and everything else in between. Here are some of the highlights.
Now in its fifth year of business, Giant Loop debuts a number of dealer-oriented features, including a revamped dealer support program that includes display stands, authorized dealer window stickers, new POS brochures, in-store posters and a newly designed website. The company also will start offering a limited lifetime warranty on its entire 2013 collection that covers defects in materials and construction.
Giant Loop dealers can qualify for a free retail display stand for orders of $1,000 or more at the show.
Company founder Harold Olaf Cecil says Giant Loop is introducing three new products: The Siskiyou panniers; the Fort Rock top case; the Zigzag handlebar bag (see photo); and the Hot Springs Heat Shield III. It’s also upgraded its Great Basin, Coyote and MoJavi saddlebags.
Fulmer is charging into its 44th year in business with a nod to the modern era of cycling and a look back to the past.
The company is announcing that it’s the officially licensed helmet of the hit FX television show, “Sons of Anarchy.” Fulmer will introduce two half helmets — the 90 series — with show-related graphics. More helmets are to follow throughout the year.
Stop by the company’s booth for some moto-stalgia with the reintroduction of the iconic Stars and Stripes Easy Rider helmet. (Continued)
